How do you fit and set up an internal or external rotor ignition the easy way? With the Easyboost timing gauge for 2-stroke engines, setting your ignition timing is a breeze. A full step-by-step tutorial is also available to guide you.
The Easyboost timing gauge for 2-stroke engines lets you fit and set the ignition advance on an internal or external rotor ignition with ease. It works on scooters, 50cc AM6 or Derbi motorbikes, mopeds such as the MBK 51 or Peugeot 103, as well as the MBK Booster, Nitro, Piaggio and more.
With the Easyboost ignition timing gauge, you can easily time an internal rotor ignition such as PVL, Malossi MHR, MVT DD, Doppler, Stage6, Polini, Most, Bidalot, HPI and others. Whether it's timed at 2,25 mm as with the MHR, 1,4 mm with the Selettra Italkit, or 3,3 mm with the Malossi MHR on a 50cc motorbike, you'll be able to time absolutely any type of ignition.
The gauge is graduated from 0 to 9. One full turn of the gauge head moves the rod by 1 mm. Each graduation therefore represents 0,1 mm. For example, to time your ignition at 2,3 mm before TDC (top dead centre), simply screw the head in by 2 turns + 3 graduations.
