The Easyboost rev limiter caps the engine speed for a controlled break-in or a reduced top speed. Designed for most 50 cm³ 2-stroke engines (MBK Booster, Nitro, Kymco, AM6, Derbi). Key point: not compatible with Beta 50cc bikes, 4-stroke engines or inner rotor ignitions.
This Easyboost rev limiter unit is designed to cap your engine's rotation speed. Two main uses: carrying out a proper break-in after an engine rebuild, or reducing the vehicle's maximum speed.
Compatibility: it fits the majority of 50 cm³ 2-stroke engines on the market, including MBK Booster, Nitro, Kymco, as well as motorcycles with AM6 or Derbi engines.
Fitting and adjustment: installation is quick thanks to the supplied connector. The unit's red wire connects to the "pick-up" wire linking the ignition stator to the CDI, while the black wire connects to ground, directly on the frame. A switch, also supplied, controls the activation of the limiter. The maximum engine speed is selected using the adjustment potentiometer (A), graduated from 0 to 9, then fine-tuned precisely with the fine adjustment potentiometer (B). Instructions in French with a detailed diagram are included in the delivery.
