Easyboost jets let you dial in your PHBN-PHVA type carburettor for the best possible setup. The box contains 10 jets in 6 mm size.
Easyboost jets fit all PHBN-PHVA type carburettors.
CNC-machined from brass, Easyboost jets are made to extremely tight tolerances, allowing you to fine-tune your carburettor with real precision.
To get your jetting spot on, follow these steps:
Start by fitting a main jet that is “too big” to run a “rich” mixture and avoid overheating the cylinder and piston. The engine should then “four-stroke” (splutter) at high revs, which means the mixture is too rich.
Then work your way down through the jet sizes (in steps of 5) until the engine pulls cleanly and smoothly at high revs. You can also use the colour of the spark plug as a guide.
After riding flat out for a few hundred metres, kill the ignition and remove the spark plug straight away to check the colour of the electrode. It should be a brick red/brown colour. If the electrode is black, the mixture is still too rich, so you'll need to go down a jet size. If it's white, the mixture is too lean, so you'll need to go up a size.
