Its rounded plastic tip locks the piston without marking or risking damage to it, so you can safely remove the ignition, variator or sprocket. Not suitable for angled spark plug holes.
The Easyboost M14x1.25 piston stop tool screws into the spark plug hole, in place of the spark plug, to immobilise the piston, which comes to rest against it. With the crankshaft locked, you can effortlessly loosen the ignition, variator, sprocket or any part fitted to the engine shaft: ideal for replacing rollers, the belt or working on the transmission.
Made from high-quality steel, this tool features a high-quality Teflon (plastic) insert: unlike a standard all-steel piston stop, the piston rests against plastic, eliminating any risk of breakage or marking. The rounded tip fully protects the piston crown and is kind to all mechanical components: piston, needle bearing cage and crankshaft.
Its M14x1.25 thread makes it compatible with every 2-stroke engine on the market: MBK Booster, Nitro, Peugeot and Piaggio Vespa scooters, MBK 51 and Peugeot 103 mopeds, Solex, motocross bikes, Derbi, AM6, as well as brushcutters, chainsaws and lawnmowers.
- Check compatibility by measuring the diameter of your spark plug: it should be approximately 14 mm.
- Fits all 2-stroke cylinder heads with an M14x1.25 thread.
- WARNING: not suitable for cylinder heads with an angled spark plug hole.
