The Easyboost gauge tool lets you measure the timing belt width on Peugeot PureTech 1.0 and 1.2 (3-cylinder) engines. If the belt slips easily between the two markers, it is in good condition. If it does not fit, the belt has widened too much and must be replaced immediately.
Compatibility:
Peugeot 1.0 and 1.2: 108, 2008, 208, 301, 308 (2013 onwards), 3008, 5008.
Citroën 1.0 and 1.2: C1 II, C3 III, C3 Picasso, C4 Cactus, C4 II, C4 Picasso and Grand Picasso II, DS3/DS3 Cabrio, DS4.
Toyota 1.2: Aygo (2014 onwards).
Vauxhall 1.2.
Opel 1.0 and 1.2: Combo-E (2018 onwards), Crossland X (2017 onwards), Grandland X (2017 onwards), Mokka X (2016 onwards).
