Set of 3 Easyboost timing setting pins for Renault 1.5 and 1.9 DCi engines (also Dacia and Nissan). Locks the pulleys and locates top dead centre when changing the timing belt. Equivalent to Renault references MOT1489, MOT1430, MOT1054, MOT861 and MOT863: check the engine reference in your service manual.
This set of 3 Easyboost timing pins is designed to set the timing on 1.5 and 1.9 DCi engines when replacing the timing belt. It allows you to locate top dead centre and immobilise the pulleys by locking them into the holes provided on the engine, an essential requirement for correct fitting of the timing kit.
Vehicles concerned: Renault Clio, Kangoo, Laguna, Mégane, Modus, Scenic and Twingo; Dacia Sandero and Duster; as well as certain Nissan models.
Details of the three pins:
- Crankshaft setting pin: equivalent to Renault reference MOT1489 (1.5 DCi engine).
- Camshaft and crankshaft setting pin: corresponds to Peugeot-Citroën PSA 0194B, 0187B, 0189B, Volvo 999-7122, Fo. 21-263, Renault MOT1430 (on 1.5 DCi) and Mercedes 607589011500 references.
- Crankshaft and top dead centre setting pin: corresponds to Renault references MOT1054 (on 1.9 DCi), MOT861 and MOT863, as well as Opel KM603.
